Entry requirements common to all Flight Instructor courses

• Medical Class I (Aviation Medical Certification Class 1)
  • List of eye specialists (German)
  • List of Aeromedical Examiners(AMEs, German)
  • Aeromedical Centres (AMCs, German)
• Clearance certificate (up to date) („Leumundszeugnis“)
  • Information regarding clearance certificate (German only)
• Valid passport
• Other personal documents

Entry requirements for FI (A)

• valid CPL acc. JAR-FCL or
• valid PPL acc. JAR-FCL and
  • min. 150h PIC (proof by copy of flight log)
  • completed CPL theory course
  • min. 30h on single engine aircraft
  • min. 10h introduction to Instrument Flight acc. CPL syllabus
  • min. 20h cross-country flights as PIC
  • successfully completed Proficiency Check

Entry requirements for CRI (A)

• valid CPL acc. JAR-FCL and
  • min. 500h TT (proof by copy of flight log) for CRI ME
  • min. 300h TT (proof by copy of flight log) for CRI SE
  • min. 30h PIC on the respective aircraft type or class

Entry requirements for IRI (A)

• valid CPL acc. JAR-FCL and
  • min. 800h IFR TT of which at least 400 must be on aircraft (proof by copy of flight log)
